The Minnesota Wild gave up a lot to get Quinn Hughes this season, including Marco Rossi, Zeev Buium, Liam Ohgren, and a 2026 first-round pick. The Wild, while staying competitive, need to replenish their roster with some younger talent as some of their veterans are the ones weighing their team down. The Wild appear to have one name in mind on the Philadelphia Flyers . According to Anthony DiMarco, "The Minnesota Wild have shown continued interest in trading for Bobby Brink." Brink has turned i...

The Chicago Blackhawks added another lump of coal to the stocking on Tuesday night, losing their sixth straight game in a 4–1 defeat to the Philadelphia Flyers on Christmas Eve Eve.
The Flyers opened the scoring midway through the first period. Travis Konecny was set up in the left faceoff circle by a slick feed from Trevor Zegras and snapped it home from in close to make it 1–0.

In the final game before the Christmas break and in a second half of a back-to-back, the Flyers went into Chicago and came away with a wire-to-wire 3-1 victory over the Blackhawks. At the tail end of a brutal condensed schedule where the Flyers played 10 games in 17 days, the Flyers now head into the holiday break with the second highest points percentage in the East.
The Basics
First period: 10:17 – Travis Konecny (Trevor Zegras, Sean Couturier) Second period: 11:13 – Noah Ca...
The first period of this game was a dump and chase drill. The teams combined to put ten shots on net (6-4 in favor of the Flyers). Philly’s second shot didn’t happen until 10:17 had come off the clock. Unfortunately, it went in. The Blackhawks had a 7-3 advantage in scoring chances in the first period at 5-on-5 , but were chasing one after one.
The Blackhawks and Flyers really made it feel like both teams have three days off after this game in the second period… until the Flyers amazingly...
A loss so bad it causes a roster transaction. Shortly after falling to the Brooklyn Nets, Tony Jones of the Athletic has reported that the Sixers will be signing MarJon Beauchamp to a two-way deal, and will be waiving Hunter Sallis in a corresponding move. Beauchamp has been in the Sixers’ organization since the preseason. […]
Even without the win totals, talent, or even fan pull in their own home city, the Brooklyn Nets pride themselves on their ability to show up for work every single day. The hard hats, plastic lunch pails, and steel-toed boots thing may be long gone from the NBA, with Blake Griffin now in the broadcast […]

The last thing anyone wants to see is another Joel Embiid knee injury. The Sixers’ star center went down on the team’s first offensive possession of the second half. He was bumped into by Brooklyn Nets guard Terance Mann and fell to the floor appearing to be in a tremendous amount of pain, slamming the […]
Sunday night was a reminder that for the Nets: Anything is possible when they’re locked in collectively on the defensive side of the ball. No matter who’s on the floor. In other related news, Ben Saraf went off for 40 points in the G-League showcase, so that’s good news. Let’s see if these guys can […]
It’s almost break time, folks! The Flyers are closing out their slate of action before the holidays with a quick trip out to Chicago to face off against the Blackhawks. They’re coming off of a huge win over the Canucks last night in their final home game of the year, but the next challenge is still ahead of them: keeping that momentum rolling.

Despite a five-goal outbreak against the Philadelphia Flyers on the weekend, the New York Rangers have been struggling to score. They have four games of zero or one goal in their last seven, and currently sit dead last in the Eastern Conference with just 97 goals scored this season, in 38 games, going into Tuesday's action. But their leading scorer, Artemi Panarin, might not be long for the Big Apple. A pending unrestricted free agent, he has had no extension talks since turning down a d...
The NFL officially announced the 2026 Pro Bowl Games rosters on Tuesday morning. As it turns out, the Philadelphia Eagles have five players who made the NFC team. The list: The NFL also announced five Eagles alternates: Some notes and thoughts:
This felt like one of those defensive performances where you finish the film thinking this Philadelphia Eagles defense is just getting better. The Washington Commanders don’t have a great offense, and after Marcus Mariota went out, it became a bit of a silly game, but that almost doesn’t matter. The Eagles played with a clarity […]
The Chicago Blackhawks limp into Tuesday’s final matchup before the holiday break with the Philadelphia Flyers carrying a growing losing streak and an injury list that’s starting to look uncomfortably bleak.
The Flyers arrive in Chicago as one of the league’s quietest success stories, having picked up at least a point in 18 of their last 23 games while going 12-5-6 over that stretch. That run has vaulted them all the way to second in the Metropolitan Division and in the Eastern Conference...

The Blackhawks are hurting right now — literally and figuratively. They’re 2-7-1 in their last 10 games and have lost their last five in a row. And they’ll start tonight’s game without Connor Bedard or Frank Nazar available; Nazar left the game in Ottawa and will miss the next four weeks. So much for a merry Christmas, eh?
Unfortunately, the Blackhawks will not get their captain, Nick Foligno , back in the lineup tonight against a Flyers team that hosted (and beat) the Canucks last night ...
The Mets are reportedly interested in free agent left fielder Austin Hays, according to Jon Heyman. The team is discussing the outfielder internally as they look to bolster their lineup.
