Jonah Tong’s return to the big leagues was certainly eventful. After striking out the first four batters, he allowed four runs, squandering a 3-0 Mets lead. But the offense answered right back, unleashing a 16-hit attack, led by A.J. Ewing’s three-hit, three-RBI game in a 9-4 win over the Marlins. Tong settled down, grinding through five innings to get the win, striking out seven in the process.
