After falling a few star players short against the Seahawks in two […]
Jung Hoo Lee and the San Francisco Giants suffered a scare on Wednesday night, though thankfully all seems to be well. Lee, returning to the states ahead of Spring Training next month, was detained at Los Angeles International Airport by Customs and Border Protection agency. That, unfortunately, is not a particularly surprising item of news […]

The San Francisco 49ers had a laundry list of injuries this season. Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch provided a handful of updates during their press conference. The San Francisco 49ers have had deep playoff runs under Kyle Shanahan. They’ve been in a position to win the Super Bowl twice, been in the NFC Championship, and, most recently, the Divisional playoff round. San Francisco made the postseason multiple times during the early 2010s under Jim Harbaugh, making similar runs. So what do […]
Trent Williams is under contract through the 2026 season, but the contract voids after that. So, unless the 49ers extend the then 38-year-old, we have one season left to watch a Hall of Fame left tackle. You’ll always hear about the great organizations getting out a year ahead of the positional need. Theoretically, the 49ers […]

On 95.7 The Game, NFL analyst Ross Tucker said this about the San Francisco 49ers: “In the coming months, people will appreciate what the 49ers accomplished… To win on the road, with those injuries, against the defending Super Bowl Champs. Three-point shooting has been a major need for the Toronto Raptors this season, who are shooting the worst percentage in the league. But that was not nearly the case tonight. The Raptors’s offense erupted in Chase Center Tuesday night, fuelled by a red-hot 21/34 shooting night from beyond the arc and crisp ball movement that […]
It’s a pretty exciting time for the San Francisco Giants and the Hall of Fame. Sure, Barry Bonds and Duane Kuiper have been passed over more times than I was anytime we picked teams for any sport at the playground. But in December, Jeff Kent was elected to the hall by the Contemporary Baseball Era […]

The San Jose Sharks won the Kiefer Sherwood Sweepstakes, landing the breakout physical, two-way forward in a trade from the Vancouver Canucks this past week. They beat out a slew of other teams that were trying to acquire him as well. But Sherwood is a pending unrestricted free agent, and his demands on a new contract are extensive -- insider Chris Johnston says the player feels he can finagle a $30 million deal (speculatively in the range of a $5M AAV). So is it a fait accompli that the Shark...
