The Las Vegas Raiders have a bye week next weekend, but the Raiders’ Week 7 performance made it seem like the team took an early vacation. The Kansas City Chiefs dominated Las Vegas, winning 31-0, and the Raiders’ performance was similar to someone using PTO on a Friday before a Monday federal holiday. Not only […]

The AFC North joined historical company at the end of the 2023 NFL season, with all four teams having winning records and the North tying for the most victories by a division since realignment in 2002. The 2025 NFL season has brought about something much different for what was one of the best divisions in […]

It is… close? The Arizona Cardinals offense looks fine but I guess between playing a good defense and having a backup quarterback it is pretty good to be winning 13-6 at halftime. The run game continues to be an issue, while the passing attack is getting yards when it matters. I got a text from […]

This one play might be the low point of Pete Carroll’s otherwise decorated coaching career. It’s very rare to see a team up by so many points and showing so much mercy that they’re willing to kneel the ball on the plus side of the two-minute warning. That’s what happened to Pete Carroll and the […]

The Eagles offense was able to be efficient for a good portion of Sunday’s game against the Vikings, but halfway through the fourth quarter, Saquon Barkley was tackled and slow to get up. While down on one knee, Barkley began punching the ground with his right arm as trainers surrounded him. He was able to […]

It seems that when the Steelers lose, a lot of their worst qualities come to light. Their defense was tumultuous against the Cincinnati Bengals, allowing 33 points, marking the third time a Steelers’ opponent has topped 30 points in their first six games. Additionally, their defense couldn’t stop the passing attack of Joe Flacco, Ja’Marr […]

After what felt like the longest week in between games in a long while, the Cleveland Browns came out and dominated the Miami Dolphins at home in Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season. While that victory may not get HC Kevin Stefanski off the hot seat, given the quality of the opponent, it does […]

The Ben Johnson post-game rah-rah speeches have been a sweet treat after Chicago Bears victories this year, but the team’s Week 7 win against the New Orleans Saints was all about Dennis Allen.
CHICAGO BEARS WIN AGAIN: Game Recap | Player Grades
So, naturally, the Bears’ defensive coordinator received a game ball for his efforts in Sunday’s win against the Saints. It was the only game ball Johnson handed out after the game. Let’s go inside the locker room to see how the magic happened...

Move over Tom Brady, there is a new franchise leader in single game completion percentage in town. The New England Patriots’ 31-13 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday saw Drake Maye go 21-for-23 for 222 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Completing 91.3% of his throws, the second-year quarterback managed to improve upon Brady’s […]

Well, it started off better. The Tennessee Titans got a field goal and a touchdown on their first two drives, respectively. They were even up 13-10 late in the second quarter. Then, like always, the wheels fell off. The New England Patriots scored 21 unanswered points to win 31-13. Cam Ward threw for 255 yards […]

Sunday was a sobering day for the Las Vegas Raiders. Not only were they historically beaten by a rival, but there were so many undesirable developments that all point to their first-year head coach Pete Carroll. It’s been just seven games, but it’s fair to wonder where are the Raiders headed with Carroll, who at […]

Apathy (noun): (1) lack of feeling or emotion; (2) lack of interest or concern; impassiveness, indifference. The worst thing that can happen to an NFL franchise is for the fan base to reach a point where apathy is the dominating emotion surrounding the team. On Sunday, the Dolphins reached that point. It no longer feels […]

They’ve done it! The Chicago Bears have just secured their fourth consecutive win. It is the first time this franchise has accomplished that feat since 2018. Do I care that the streak has come against the Cowboys, Raiders, Commanders, and Saints? Not one bit. We, on the whole, have been through a lot since then … so I am not going to take it for granted when this team goes on a winning streak. It was ugly, but the result was certainly enjoyable.
