As the Chicago Bears prepare for their 14th game of the season against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, the first official team injury reports for week 15 have been released. The Bears had a walk-thru practice on Wednesday, so player participation listed on the injury report is an estimation. Altogether, just two Bears were listed […]

The first Chicago Bears injury report of the week is here. And with the Cleveland Browns coming to town after Chicago’s heart-wrenching loss to the Green Bay Packers, I was curious to see how many battered bodies appear on the injury report. Unfortunately, there are some familiar faces

With two open practice squad spots, it felt like it was only a matter of time before the Chicago Bears would fill (at least) one vacancy. And according to the Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs, they are set to do so with the addition of linebacker Ty Summers.
Here is the reporting from Biggs, who provides a little bit of background on the coming transaction:
#Bears signed LB Ty Summers to the practice squad. This is the sixth team the former TCU product has been with. Originally a 7th rou...

Leave it to Ben Johnson to say the right thing at the right time.
The first-year Chicago Bears head coach has quite the task in front of him. On the one hand, he needs to rally the troops after a gut-wrenching loss against the Green Bay Packers in a rivalry game that took an emotional and physical toll on a team trying to establish itself as a contender this season. Learning from that loss won’t be easy, but it is necessary in order to move on to what is on the horizon. And on the other h...

I was lucky enough to be in attendance for the Green Bay Packers’ tremendous win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday (my annual trip up with a few of my brothers), which means two things: With point #2 in mind, let’s get to it. In this space, we take a look at the Packers passing […]

The Chicago Bears only allowed one sack against the Green Bay Packers, and Green Bay’s 186 million dollar man didn’t get it. But don’t think that Micah Parsons didn’t have his fingerprints all over the game. The 26-year-old Parsons is going to be a problem the Bears have to deal with for a while, but […]

The Chicago Bears lost to the Green Bay Packers… again. The feelings coming off the loss on Sunday were tough, no doubt about it. When Caleb Williams’ pass floated into the hands of Keisean Nixon and ended the Bears’ final drive, there’s no other way to slice it, it was deflating. The Bears kept finding […]

Every game from here on out is a must-win for the Chicago Bears, and it feels good to be watching our favorite team play meaningful football in December. On our latest Mac & Read Show, Evan McLean and Ross Read discuss the Bears’ narrow loss to the Green Bay Packers, Caleb Williams’ growth this season, and […]

With a pair of practice squad roster spots available, it makes sense that the Chicago Bears hosted more than a handful of players for tryouts on Tuesday. And while the Bears have bigger fish to fry, there is nothing wrong with bringing in some players who could conceivably round out the practice squad as we get deeper into December. A little depth never hurt anyone. Plus, it is always good to freshen up the Rolodex every once in a while.

Caleb Williams’ performance against the Packers ended on an interception, a play Williams admitted on Sunday evening he needed to deliver a better ball on to tight end Cole Kmet.
Personally, I think he needed to be a tick earlier on the release, and the ball itself would have been fine, but we’re splitting hairs at this point. The fact that we can even have a conversation about that end zone interception in the closing seconds is because Williams drove the Bears down to that spot on the f...

1. I must admit, I’m a little shocked at how much everyone is praising the Chicago Bears for losing so competitively to the Green Bay Packers. Of course, I agree the Bears played well, especially in the second half. But eventually, we have to get to a point where we expect the Bears to win […]

This is starting to look like a lost year for Kyler Gordon.
The 25-year-old cornerback has been limited to three games this season because of a variety of injuries. Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers should have marked his fourth appearance of the season. It was set to be his second game back after returning from a stint on injured reserve. Unfortunately, for the Bears, it wasn’t meant to be. Gordon suffered a groin injury during pre-game warmups and did not play. Chicago’s defen...

The Bears’ loss to the Packers shook up the NFC a bit. With Chicago falling to No. 7, Green Bay moves to into the No. 2 spot. Meanwhile, the Rams take over the top spot again. Over in the AFC, the Broncos used the Patriots being on their bye to move ahead of New England. Elsewhere, the Colts’ freefall and Chiefs’ collapse continue.
That, and more, in this week’s NFL playoff picture check-in.

The Bears’ five-game winning streak came to an end on Sunday with their 28-21 loss to the Packers. Though Chicago stills sit at 9-4, they are no longer in first place of the NFC North and find themselves a game away from being on the outside looking in on the playoff race. That goes to […]

Thanks to Bears Head Coach Ben Johnson, we can finally put to rest the “DJ Moore was open!” angle when discussing the final offensive play of the Chicago Bears’ Week 14 loss to the Green Bay Packers
Let’s allow the Bears coach to take us through it ( via The Athletic ):
“I didn’t see him as being the answer in that time. I think he came open more after the ball was released from Caleb. Nixon was man-to-man with DJ and was trailing him and ended up falling off and making a play on C...

Another loss to the Green Bay Packers for the Chicago Bears, but it didn’t feel like a typical loss. Chicago lost by a touchdown on the second-to-last play of the game. Somehow though, it wasn’t a gut-wrenching, nut punch of a loss like so many that came before. Is it because the Bears get a […]

With Week 14 of the NFL season in the books, let’s take a look at another 2026 NFL Mock Draft.
With the Giants now sitting at the top spot, would they trade down to a quarterback-needy team? It’s certainly possible, if not likely in my opinion. Plus, the Rams add their Matthew Stafford replacement, the Bears address their EDGE issues, and a whole lot more.
Let’s get to it.

Back in Week 11, I wrote about Christian Watson’s two-touchdown game against the New York Giants. With Watson fully integrated into the offense after returning from his […]
