The White Sox staked an immediate 1-0 lead on a Sam Antonacci leadoff homer, but the British Columbia native O'Neill snuffed out their only other scoring opportunity with a diving catch that saved two runs in the top of the fourth. SIGNED: Oliver Bjorkstrand Signs With Metropolitan Division Team

The New York Rangers are adding another veteran winger, with Oliver Bjorkstrand heading to Broadway in free agency. Per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, Bjorkstrand is signing a one-year, $4.5M deal with the Rangers. Bjorkstrand spent last season with the Tampa Bay Lightning, posting 12 goals and 20 assists for 32 points in 80 games.
