The Los Angeles Rams enter their bye week on a happy note after defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 35-7 early Sunday morning. Los Angeles bounced back from a dismal offensive showing last week and took care of the Jaguars in London. Now, the Rams sit at 5-2 and atop the NFC West (for now), with four […]
The Washington Commanders are visiting the Dallas Cowboys this week, and will play them late Sunday afternoon. They are going into their first game of the season against the Cowboys hurting on offense with WRs Terry McLaurin (quad), Noah Brown (IR for groin injury), and Deebo Samuel (heel) all missing from this game. The Dallas […]
Tua Tagovailoa offered a harsh self-assessment after he got benched by the Miami Dolphins in their blowout loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Midfielder had been enjoying some of the best form of his career.
In Mike Vrabel’s first game back in Tennessee since being fired after the 2023 season, his New England Patriots made it a memorable return — cruising to a 31-13 win over the Titans for their fourth straight victory. As the Patriots kneeled out the win, chants of Vrabel! Vrabel! echoed through Nissan Stadium. “I didn’t […]
Getafe 0-1 Real Madrid (Mbappé). The late show steals the points… Here is the immediate reaction. To come: Player ratings, interviews and a podcast. International break complete, and an away trip to Getafe awaited the players upon return. The short trip always proved to be a cagey occasion, and the line-up reflected this. Fede Valverde was at […]
Apathy (noun): (1) lack of feeling or emotion; (2) lack of interest or concern; impassiveness, indifference. The worst thing that can happen to an NFL franchise is for the fan base to reach a point where apathy is the dominating emotion surrounding the team. On Sunday, the Dolphins reached that point. It no longer feels […]
Well, this is an article I didn’t think I would have to write after that blowout win against Fresno State last week, least of all this soon. However, after another uncompetitive loss, this time at home to a now bowl-bound Hawaii Rainbow Warriors squad, Colorado State figured that it was about time to pull the […]
Pre-match Max Allegri had a ton of absences: Christian Pulisic, Christopher Nkunku, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Adrien Rabiot, Ardon Jashari, and Pervis Estupiñan were all in the stands, leaving him with a front two of Rafael Leão and Alexis Saelemaekers. Stefano Pioli—making his 500th Serie A appearance as a head coach—surprisingly started Moise Kean up front, claiming […]
It is an 8:00 Easter start time. Just win Jays. The good news is George Springer is playing. Hopefully he’ll be able to swing the bat and run the bases. I wouldn’t look for any stolen bases. But a home run or two would be a good thing. Tonight’s lineup: And, of course, Trey Yesavage […]
They’ve done it! The Chicago Bears have just secured their fourth consecutive win. It is the first time this franchise has accomplished that feat since 2018. Do I care that the streak has come against the Cowboys, Raiders, Commanders, and Saints? Not one bit. We, on the whole, have been through a lot since then … so I am not going to take it for granted when this team goes on a winning streak. It was ugly, but the result was certainly enjoyable.
FINAL: Chicago Bears 26, New Orleans Saints...
I’ve been thinking about how to start this article for two days, but all of my thoughts can succinctly be distilled into two words. That sucked. The 2025 regular season was filled with excitement and hope that the Brewers would finally return to the World Series for the first time since 1982. Those aspirations were […]
“I SAID IT’S GREAT (bum bum) TO BE (bum bum) A GEORGIA BULLDOG! (repeat x ∞)” ~ Podunkdawg If you’re not hearing that in Podunk’s voice, then in all likelihood, you never met her. After a game like yesterday’s, it’s all I hear. She was ALWAYS a Dawg, but she was loud and proud after […]
FanDuel released its week 9 lines and BYU is an early 2.5-point road underdog to Iowa State on Saturday. The early line has fluctuated between a pick ‘em and BYU slight underdog since the line released this morning and will likely fluctuate throughout the week. The point total for the game is 49.5. The Cyclones […]

The Jacksonville Jaguars lost on Sunday to fall to 4-3 on the season, but a tiebreaker keeps them in the seventh and final playoff spot following Week 7. They have a head-to-head win over the Kansas City Chiefs to hold on. The Indianapolis Colts won to stay atop the AFC and AFC South at 6-1. […]
Shane Pinto leads the NHL in goal-scoring going into Sunday's play, having lit the lamp seven times on the young season in just six games. As a pending restricted free agent, the soon-to-be 25-year-old is putting himself in line for a hefty new contract. And while the Ottawa Senators weren't knocking down the door this summer to get Pinto re-signed (the two sides were said to be far apart in talks), their thinking seems to have evolved a bit. It appears now that the Sens have rampe...
Everything went right for the Cleveland Cavaliers last season until it didn’t. They won 64 games and cruised through the first round with one of the most lopsided sweeps in NBA history. Then, things went awry in the second round when they ran into the Indiana Pacers. Tyrese Haliburton’s late-game heroics played a large role […]

The Philadelphia Eagles are 5-2 after beating the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday! Final score: 28 to 22. The losing streak is over. After dropping back-to-back games to the Denver Broncos and New York Giants, the Eagles rebounded with an important win. As has consistently been the case for the Eagles this […]
Well, I’m still trying to wrap my brain around what I witnessed through my screen on Friday night between the Miami Hurricanes and the Louisville Cardinals. The supposedly different team I’ve watched all season must have stayed in the bye week, as the version I saw in Miami’s 24-21 loss was the one I’ve seen […]
For the first time in 11 years, Liverpool have lost four matches in a row. The Reds controversially went behind just over a minute in after Bryan Mbueno scored after Alexis Mac Allister went down with a head injury (caused by the elbow of Virgil van Dijk). Liverpool continued their trend of looking very disjointed […]
Notre Dame was first pushed and then kicked off of the mountain with its 0-2 start to the Miami Hurricanes and Texas A&M Aggies. Just as the Irish did last year following the loss to Northern Illinois, Notre Dame has continued to beat down its opponent to claw its way back up the rankings mountain. […]
