‘New Pedri’ Kees Smit could rescind contract and join Barcelona

The financial tug-of-war over Kees Smit has taken a sharp turn, as FC Barcelona and other European giants keep a close watch on a legal loophole that could see the Dutch prodigy leave AZ Alkmaar for a fraction of his reported valuation. While AZ is aiming for a club-record windfall, Arno Vermeulen, a prominent journalist […]

Rams 3-round mock draft

Despite making the blockbuster trade of the NFL offseason—for all-pro corner Trent McDuffie—the Los Angeles Rams still find themselves with a full slate of picks in each of the draft’s first three rounds. LA also has a combined four picks in the final two rounds. We know you pretty much only care about the first […]

NFL Draft Profile: CB Mansoor Delane, LSU

The Cleveland Browns appear set with the top two spots at cornerback with Denzel Ward, still one of the best at the position in the league, and Tyson Campbell, who did a nice job after coming over from the Jacksonville Jaguars in a mid-season trade. After those two, however, things get a bit dicey. Martin […]

Derek Dixon commits to Arizona

UNC will be looking for a new point guard for next season. Derek Dixon, who entered his name into the transfer portal last week, has committed to the University of Arizona and Tommy Lloyd. The freshman averaged 6.5 points per game and led the Tar Heels in assists after he wrestled the starting point guard […]

Arizona men’s basketball gets commitment from ex-North Carolina guard Derek Dixon

It turned out pretty good the last time Arizona added a transfer guard from North Carolina. Maybe lightning will strike twice. The Wildcats have gotten a commitment from former UNC guard Derek Dixon, their second transfer pickup on Monday alongside ex-Washington guard JJ Mandaquit. The 6-foot-5 Dixon played 33 games for the Tar Heels as […]

ITF J300 San Diego Finals Videos, Gallery; McCord Claims Another J100, One of Five ITF Junior Circuit Singles Titles for Americans Last Week; Urhobo, Dostanic Lead Roland Garros Wild Card Race After Week Two

Barnes Tennis Center is one of my favorite junior tennis venues, and for the past two years, the finals of the ITF J300 there in March have been back-to-back, rather than simultaneous, with the latter being the norm at many junior events. The stadium court at Barnes allows videos to be taken from behind the court, which makes it much easier for me and gives viewers a better feel for the points.

UNC has reportedly parted ways with Dylan Mingo

We are just one week into the Michael Malone era, and the new UNC head coach has already started making sizable moves to build his roster. The most recent was just announced — the Tar Heels have reportedly parted ways with five-star verbal commit Dylan Mingo. The announcement arrived via Tar Heel 247 and Inside […]

Dave McGinnis passes away at 74

Dave McGinnis, better known as Coach Mac, passed away today at the age of 74. I had not seen any reports that he was sick, but the wording of that Tweet makes it sound like his family suspected it was coming. Coach Mac has been the color analyst for Titans Radio since 2017. He was […]

Atlanta Braves vs Miami Marlins Game Thread

The Atlanta Braves and their scorching hot offense are taking on the surprisingly good Miami Marlins tonight as they look to extend their division lead. The Braves are scoring runs at a pace that only three teams in MLB are doing at a higher rate, and only the Dodgers have hit more HRs. No Braves […]

3-Time NCAA Champion Coach David Carle Enters Rumor Mill Again

David Carle has done it again. He's led the Denver Pioneers to their third NCAA men's hockey title in the last five years. His coaching resume is as good as it gets for a bench boss without any NHL experience. He turned down a $25 million opportunity a year ago to take the reins of the Chicago Blackhawks, prefering to stay in Denver.  Will he get some more NHL teams sniffing around yet again after his third national championship in this dominant run? Insider Elliotte Friedman figures he w...

BYU added its second transfer portal commitment as Syracuse Forward Tyler Betsey is transferring to BYU. Travis Branham of 247 Sports first had the news. Sam Lewis reportedly returning to UVA basketball, nearly completing team’s core

UVA men’s basketball’s offseason momentum kept rolling Sunday, when Jon Rothstein reported that Sam Lewis has agreed to return to Virginia for the 2026-27 season for what is expected to be his senior season. For Ryan Odom and the Cavaliers, it is hard to overstate how important that news is. The 6-foot-7 wing played a major role in Virginia’s […]

Cincinnati Reds trade Christian Encarnacion-Strand to Baltimore Orioles

The Christian Encarnacion-Strand era of Cincinnati Reds has come to an unceremonius close. The slugging 1B was designated for assignment back on April 8th as a way to get PJ Higgins onto the roster for catching depth in the wake of Jose Trevino’s injury, and the Reds revealed today that CES did not, in fact […]
