Fields Qualifies for US Women’s Amateur

Chikomba Selected to The Bowerman Semifinalist List

K-State junior Tah Chikomba was named to The Bowerman Semifinalist list on Thursday (June 25) as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The men's three finalists will be announced on Tuesday, June 30, with online fan voting open from June 30-July 2.

Chikomba Named USTFCCCA Men’s National Field Athlete of the Year

Junior Tah Chikomba was named the National Men's Field Athlete of the Year on Monday (June 22) as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Chikomba is just the second Wildcat to earn the honor, the first for the men's team, since Akela Jones was named the Women's Field Athlete of the Year in 2015.

K-State Rowing Adds Four Women to CSC Academic All-District Team

The K-State women's rowing team had four athletes—Grace Hall, Lorelei Harris, Leah Roane and Izzy Ross—named to the CSC Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team as announced by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday (June 16).

Smith Earns Triple Jump Bronze Medal, Women’s 4x400 Relay are NCAA First Team All-Americans

Freshman Destini Smith finished 3rd in the triple jump at the NCAA Championship on Saturday (June 13) while the 4x400 relay team also earned First Team All-America honors. The K-State women finished with eight points tied for 29th place, while the three women's podium finishes are the most since 2019 when they finished in 16th place with 16 points. Georgia won the women's team title with 50 points while Florida was runner-up with 43 points.
