Leeds United 1-1 Manchester United: Reds steal a point at 16th Place Leeds
Matheus Cunha scored an equalizer to save a point for fifth-place Manchester United as the Reds played to a 1-1 result at newly-promoted Leeds United who currently sit in 16th place in the league. The Reds once again draw in a match earmarked by optimistic fans as three expected points in a potential campaign to […]
Player Ratings: Manchester United 1-1 Leeds United
Here are your player ratings from Manchester United’s 1-1 draw against Leeds United: Starters Senne Lammens – 5 Made some good saves, but his positioning could’ve been better on the goal. Diogo Dalot – 5 Got into promising areas but never looked like a threat. Leny Yoro – 5 Still a bit unconvincing when isolated, […]
Leeds United vs Manchester United: Live stream, Time & How to watch
Not long after a disastrous result against one relegation-threatened side, Manchester United hit the road to face long-time adversaries Leeds United in Sunday’s Premier League scrap at Elland Road. Wolverhampton Wanderers collected just their third point of the season at Old Trafford in midweek, while the Whites prolonged their eye-catching unbeaten sequence at Anfield. A […]
Match Preview: Leeds vs. Manchester United
Manchester United’s first fixture of 2026 sees the Reds travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United on Sunday afternoon. It’s been almost three years since our last competitive meeting with the Whites, as we ran out 2-0 winners in February 2023, following goals from Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho. Ruben Amorim’s side will be […]
Three Points: Manchester United vs. Leeds United
Matheus Cunha A week or two ago, it seemed like Matheus Cunha was ready to go on a run. Unfortunately for United, this hasn’t come to pass. With most of the top players in the side out, it’s only natural for the opposition to keep a tight lid on the player most likely to cause […]
Ruben Amorim Isn’t Helping Himself
Patrick Dorgu’s first-half performance and goal were the major takeaways from last week’s game against Newcastle. It wasn’t a major turning point in the season, but we saw a player who has struggled to make a significant impact in the final third look like a useful contributor in attack for once. This had little to […]
In a can’t lose situation, Ruben Amorim managed to lose
The boos started up again in the 75th minute. Manchester United were being held to a 1-1 draw by a Wolves side on pace to shatter Derby’s County’s record of futility in the Premier League. At that point, United had managed 11 shots for a paltry 0.58 xG. Whatever Ruben Amorim’s Plan A had been […]
Manchester United 1-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers: Reds held in embarrassing home draw to league-worst Wolves
Manchester United failed to win at Old Trafford for the fourth time in the last five home matches, held to a 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday. The visitors, who have just three points through 19 matches, held their own defensively and did well to create against the Reds, but the result is largely […]
Manchester United vs. Wolves: Live stream, Time & How to watch
Manchester United are still missing several players through injury and international duty, including skipper Fernandes, while Mason Mount is a major doubt after being withdrawn at half-time on Friday. Amorim’s options are limited, as Kobbie Mainoo (calf), Matthijs de Ligt (back) and Harry Maguire (thigh) are sidelined; Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui are all at […]
Reds add Lundkvist and Schuller in winter window
Manchester United Women is on the move in the transfer market, announcing two midseason reinforcements on Monday. Sweden international Hannah Lundkvist and Germany goalscorer Lea Schuller were both unveiled by the club in a (potentially incidental?) reveal interview, with Lundkvist’s announcement going up first but Schuller standing clearly alongside her new teammate before her own […]
Three Points: Manchester United vs. Wolves
Formation I felt like too much was being made of Ruben Amorim’s adjustments in recent weeks, but last week was a clear shift to a back four in the first half. With Mason Mount most likely out, we could see another adjustment to the set-up. It’s hard to predict the starting set-up with so many […]
Boxing Day Worldie
New episode of The Fergie Fledglings! Colin is back with Nathan and Pauly to discuss a tight 1-0 win on Boxing Day for Manchester United, who overcame a slew of fresh injuries thanks to some solid defending and a stunning strike from Patrick Dorgu against an off-balance Newcastle United team. We fit all that in […]
Team News: Manchester United vs. Wolves
Manchester United will be back at Old Trafford for their next Premier League match on Tuesday, taking on Wolverhampton Wanderers for the second time this December in the reverse fixture against the team that is still bottom of the table on a historically low two points. When the sides last met on Dec. 8 at […]
Match Preview: Manchester United vs. Wolves
Aiming to end 2025 with back-to-back wins, Manchester United will welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Old Trafford on Tuesday, when Ruben Amorim faces some tough selection calls. Still missing several players, including key creator and captain Bruno Fernandes, United lost Mason Mount to injury during Friday’s home win over Newcastle United, and the England midfielder’s participation […]
Ayden Heaven Continues to Excite
Ayden Heaven has been one of the big positives in recent weeks. He is capable in the air, aggressive, fairly quick, composed on the ball, and an able passer. In so many ways, he ticks what most United fans look for in a player, so it’s hard not to be excited. There’s always the temptation […]
Leny Yoro needs to show more
When Manchester United announced the signing of Leny Jean-Luc Yoro on July 18, 2024, millions of United fans across the globe felt thrilled to have added one of the most promising defensive prospects in the world. Born in Saint-Maurice, France, Yoro was raised in the Parisian suburbs by Alain Yoro, a former footballer of Ivorian […]
Player Ratings: Manchester United 1-0 Newcastle United
Here are your player ratings from Manchester United’s 1-0 win against Newcastle United: Starters Senne Lammens – 8 Solid outing. Made saves when asked to and handled the ball well for most of the game. Had one nervy moment right at the end, but it came to nothing. Diogo Dalot – 5 Struggled against Gordon […]
Manchester United 1-0 Newcastle United: Reds bag 3 points and a clean sheet thanks to Dorgu stunner
Manchester United finally scored another victory at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Boxing Day, taking down Newcastle 1-0 in a battle to stay alive in the European qualification spots. Ruben Amorim shook things up with the mounting injury crisis and AFCON trio away for international action, and the shifting lineup resulted in Luke […]

Just three points separate the Lancashire and Tyneside clubs, with United whiffing on an […]
Match Preview: Manchester United vs. Newcastle
Manchester United are in Boxing Day action with an evening kick-off against Newcastle United at Old Trafford. The Magpies did the double over the Reds last term but sit below us in the Premier League table, in 11th spot. With the difference only three points, though, it’s important Ruben Amorim’s side bounce back from our […]
Three Points: Manchester United vs. Newscastle United
Lisandro Martinez With Bruno Fernandes out and Kobbie Mainoo a doubt, we might see Lisandro Martinez in midfield once again. The Argentine’s qualities on the ball and calmness under pressure might give Ruben Amorim a different option in midfield for the rest of the season. This isn’t great news for Manuel Ugarte, who has struggled […]

Manchester United returns to action on Boxing Day at Old Trafford, facing Newcastle in hopes of recording a victory at home for the first time since October. Ruben Amorim’s side will be without their captain Bruno Fernandes after sustaining an injury in a defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday, and the manager offered updates on […]

There wasn’t a Manchester United fan in the world that didn’t let out a grown when they first saw the team news for Sunday’s match against Aston Villa. We knew it was going to be rough. Noussair Mazraoui, Bryan Abeumo, and Amad were all away on AFCON duty and Casemiro was suspended. The news that […]
