Marquette Volleyball Stays On Top The Big East With Two Wins
As I wrote in the preview for this past weekend’s Marquette volleyball contests, beating Creighton was a big deal for the Golden Eagles, but it was only going to matter if MU backed it up with a winning streak. Welcome to Sunday morning, and Marquette is on a three match winning streak thanks to a […]
Marquette Men’s Soccer Grabs Their First Big East Win
It wasn’t quite season on the line for Marquette men’s soccer on Saturday night at Valley Fields, but when you’re 0-3-0 in conference play and there’s only eight league games to be played at all, things do start getting a little desperate in terms of finding a win. As the Golden Eagles found themselves lined […]
Marquette Shuts Out DePaul To Stay Unbeaten
At the end of the day, all that matters is that Marquette women’s soccer won their road match against DePaul and 2) the final stats make it look like MU was clearly in control of things the whole way through. Now, did it really feel like that for the entirety of 90 minutes? No, not […]

On Friday afternoon, Marquette women’s swimming set 11 different event time records for the pool at the Wellness + Rec Center on campus, all in the same home meet against Northern Iowa! Okay, I can’t trick you after last time. Yes, this was the first home dual meet in program history, so yes, every single […]
Marquette Men’s Soccer Preview: vs Butler
Okay, here’s the deal: Butler stinks. The Bulldogs are winless in nine matches this season, sitting with a record of 0-6-3. They are getting outscored 14-3 on the year, and they have scored just two goals in their last five matches. Both came in a 3-2 loss to Dayton. They are getting outshot 14.3 to […]

Marquette Volleyball Preview: vs Georgetown & vs Villanova
I knew that Marquette beating Creighton on Sunday was a big deal. Maybe less of a big deal than in years past since this was the first time playing an unranked Bluejays squad since the spring 2021 Big East championship game, and the first time in a regularly scheduled season match since the 2017 BE […]

Marquette Women’s Soccer Picks Up First Big East Win Of The Season
You can’t just draw your way through a Big East schedule of women’s soccer and expect it all to work out for you in the end. Marquette had two very different draws in their first two matches of league play, and it was definitely time to start putting wins up, especially with the Golden Eagles […]
Why Was This Scheduled: Marquette 7, Carroll 2
Freshman Dominic Firs made his second appearance of the season and scored a hat trick in less than 33 minutes as Division 1 Marquette steamrolled Division 3 Carroll by a score of 7-2 on Tuesday night at Valley Fields. Mateo Stoka scored for Marquette less than 10 minutes in on what what turned into the […]
Marquette Women’s Soccer Preview: vs Creighton & at DePaul
No one is going to confuse Marquette’s 0-0-2 start to Big East play for a good way to get conference action going. First of all, the obvious: Marquette is winless through two matches. That’s not good, right? Better than two losses, sure, but no wins is by default Not Awesome. There’s also the process of […]
Big East Announces Television & Tip Times For 2026-27 Women’s Basketball Season
Thankfully, we only had to wait one day after the Big East announced the television assignments for men’s basketball to get the same set schedule for the 2026-27 Marquette women’s basketball season. Even better, we have every single women’s hoops game covered because, for whatever reason, the Big Ten already knows that MU’s visit to […]

We Have Times & Television Assignments For Marquette Men’s Basketball!
We got the Big East conference schedule for Marquette men’s basketball waaaaaaaay back on September 14th. It was almost so long that I was a quarter-convinced that we actually weren’t going to watch Big East basketball on TV this year. ANYWAY, the Big East, in cooperation with their television partners at Fox Sports, NBC Sports, […]

Marquette Topples Creighton In Five Sets
And just like that, everyone in the Big East has one loss after four matches of conference play. Sunday’s Marquette/Creighton match was the last contest in the cycle to get everyone to four matches played. Going into Saturday’s contests, we were down to Creighton and Butler with a zero in the loss column, and St. […]

The first look was a little bit muted though, as Damarius Owens and Michael […]
