Navy took the opening kick, and sent in backup quarterback Braxton Woodson to run the option attack. […]

Notre Dame Football: Navy Midshipmen Q&A with Mitchell Northam
Folks,,, I know it’s been a bit of a hiatus from an Opponent Q&A perspective, but I’m happy to be back for what will surely be a straightforward, easy, boring game against the Navy Midshipmen for our Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team, per usual in this annual rivalry game. Our Fighting Irish won an […]
2025 Notre Dame Football: Irish VS Navy Midshipmen
The 6-2 Notre Dame Fighting Irish are currently ranked #10 in the college football playoff rankings, and are eyeing not just a place at the table — but ownership of the table as well (to host a playoff game). This week Notre Dame plays host to wookie-life-debt-scheduling-partner, Navy. The Middies could have been useful this […]
The Irish blow out Fairleigh Dickinson to start the season, 98-52
With all of the roster upheaval during the offseason for the 15th ranked Notre Dame Women’s Basketball team, it was hard to get a handle on what kind of squad Niele Ivey would put out on the court. Apparently, it’s still a team that will beat the hell out of an inferior opponent inside Purcell […]
Throwback Thursday: Notre Dame Fighting Irish VS Navy, 1951
Since I’ve already looked back at the Notre Dame games from the year my dad was born (1943) and the year I was born (1971), it felt only right to complete the family trilogy. So this week, I’m rewinding to 1951 — the year my mom was born — and reliving a classic muddy matchup […]

The Notre Dame Men’s Basketball team got the season started right with a 89-67 win over Long Island inside Purcell Pavilion on Monday night.
