Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Miami Heat took the floor on their home floor against the New Orleans Pelicans Thursday night. This 1 play highlights importance of Bam Adebayo’s shooting growth
Spacing. Shooting. Gravitational pull. Three is greater than two! All of those are buzzwords in today’s NBA, and rightfully so. Teams want to maximize each offensive output, as well as the number of possessions accrued in a single game. There’s more than one way to create space, but the most popular is via the 3-point […] The post This 1 play highlights importance of Bam Adebayo’s shooting growth appeared first on Hot Hot Hoops - Miami HEAT NBA Blog .
Giannis Antetokounmpo understands how ‘real’ Heat Culture is
“Heat Culture.” Those two words embody the environment that Miami Heat president Pat Riley spent three-plus decades cultivating, and it’s resulted in seven conference titles and three NBA Titles. It’s an organizational statement that each player, coach and member is expected to embody with their words and actions. To others, especially over the last few […] The post Giannis Antetokounmpo understands how ‘real’ Heat Culture is appeared first on Hot Hot Hoops - Miami HEAT NBA Blog .
Analyzing the true fit and potential of the Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bam Adebayo duo
The 2026 NBA offseason earlier this summer was kicked off with a Miami Heat blockbuster trade to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks. That deal parted with a haul of Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis and draft capital to form a new Giannis-Bam Adebayo duo in South Beach. A duo […] The post Analyzing the true fit and potential of the Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bam Adebayo duo appeared first on Hot Hot Hoops - Miami HEAT NBA Blog .

The final score doesn’t matter, but the Miami Heat took care of business in their first preseason game in Quebec City, Canada, against the Toronto Raptors this weekend. So who were a few winners […] The post 3 winners and 2 losers from Heat’s preseason opener v. Raptors appeared first on Hot Hot Hoops - Miami HEAT NBA Blog .
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Heat beat Raptors 129-105 in preseason opener
While it is only preseason, Saturday night was filled with plenty of anticipation for the new-look Miami Heat against the Toronto Raptors. Predictably, both teams looked fairly disjointed. There were a lot of fouls, a healthy amount of unforced errors and, frankly, helter-skelter basketball from two teams trying to play frantically while their legs weren’t […] The post Giannis Antetokounmpo, Heat beat Raptors 129-105 in preseason opener appeared first on Hot Hot Hoops - Miami HEAT NBA Blog .

Ryan Conwell brings shooting, confidence and a familiar work ethic to the Heat
Ryan Conwell has a pretty clear understanding of what the Miami Heat want from him. Space the floor. Compete defensively. Take care of the basketball.
