Bills news: Previewing Jim Leonhard’s new defense

The Buffalo Bills hired Jim Leonhard away from the Denver Broncos and are expecting the former Bills safety to overhaul a defensive unit that struggled at stopping the run, getting off the field on third down, and coming up with the big stop in the playoffs during the Sean McDermott era. Buffalo Beskar, Part 4: Chasing problems

Hey everyone! Welcome back to the always complex, always wacky world of Skarekrow when he’s making things. Hopefully at this point you’re hooked on my Mandalorian/Bills mashup and you’re eager to see more. Last time I discussed the armor I intended to make, specifically the breastplate segment. Kind of cruel of me to be honest […]

Enough is enough: 2026 should be Rashee Rice’s final season with Chiefs

I’ll never forget the run the Kansas City Chiefs went on in 2023. It was unlike anything I’ve seen in this dynasty. The defense took its game to an entirely new level. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ postseason performance was that of a legend. Beating the Buffalo Bills or the Baltimore Ravens on the road would have […]

Minnesota Vikings News and Links: Who Do You Want For GM?

The GM search is still ongoing and now it appears they are down to 5 candidates. They are … interim GM Rob Brzezinski, Broncos assistant GM Reed Burckhardt, Bills assistant GM Terrance Gray, Rams assistant GM John McKay and Seahawks assistant GM Nolan Teasley. Seeing as I do not know much about what the qualifications […]

How good is every NFL team at drafting?

Last week, I quantifiably determined how well Buffalo Bills director of football operations/general manager Brandon Beane has drafted. Then, I compared Beane’s drafts to some of his decision-making contemporaries. The original piece in this study can be found here, with full/detailed methodology as to how I conducted the research. And here’s the TL;DR of what […]

Bills news: Embattled WR Keon Coleman knows the pressure to perform is on

Four months ago, Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula made headlines when, during a press conference about the firing of former head coach Sean McDermott, he interrupted Brandon Beane to say that McDermott and the coaching staff pushed Buffalo to select wide receiver Keon Coleman with the No. 33 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft. […]

The Buffalo Bills continue their offseason workout program with Organized Team Activities (OTA), which begin at the team’s practice facilities today and continue on Tuesday, May 19, Thursday, May 21, and again from May 26-28 and June 1-4. Raiders CB Taron Johnson is looking for a new contract

The Las Vegas Raiders made plenty of moves this offseason to help bolster the defense. One of those moves was a trade for cornerback Taron Johnson from the Buffalo Bills for a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft. Johnson was brought in to bring a veteran presence to the secondary and help fill a […]

Bills news: Thoughts, predictions on Buffalo’s schedule

The Buffalo Bills and their fans knew that, on paper, the 2026 NFL schedule was going to be a difficult gauntlet to survive, and when the schedule was released Thursday night, we all learned just how daunting the task was going to be for first-year head coach Joe Brady and the Bills. Buffalo is projected […]

Buffalo Bills 2026 home-game ticket resale prices are currently insane

No kidding, right? Anyone could have predicted this happening with the new version of Highmark Stadium set to open later this summer just ahead of the Buffalo Bills’ 2026 season. A big reason for the price spike is due to Personal Seat Licenses (PSLs), which have saddled season-ticket bearers with one-time costs beginning at a […]

Buffalo Bills schedule: Is facing Texans in Week 1 as bad as it sounds?

The 2026 regular season schedule has been released for the National Football League. All eyes, especially in Western New York and those who live near Bills Backers’ Bars across the country are looking at the Buffalo Bills Week 1 opponent…the Houston Texans. It’s a team that has given the Bills fits the last couple of […]

Bills schedule 2026: Instant predictions for all 17 games

For those of you who’ve read and hung out at Buffalo Rumblings long enough, you understand that I’m against giving much in the way of Buffalo Bills game predictions. That’s especially the case when asked to do so during a Five Questions gauntlet in-season. Yet, here I am, writing an admittedly far too early article […]

Are the Buffalo Bills still one of the NFL’s favorite primetime shows?

The Buffalo Bills used to live in the NFL’s Sunday afternoon shadows. Since 2020, Buffalo has transformed into one of the league’s most watched teams on a national scale. As Josh Allen’s rise turned the Bills into a contender, the television exposure followed right behind it. From Sunday Night Football spotlights to Thursday night dominance, […]

Chiefs-Bills on Thanksgiving night, 20 years after inaugural third game

One of the most familiar NFL matchups currently going features the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, who will meet for the seventh consecutive regular-season. During that stretch of annual battles, which excludes the many postseason bouts, the only two editions of the matchup played “under the lights” were the first two in the […]

Bills schedule release: Which game are fans most looking forward to in 2026?

The NFL Schedule Release became a proper noun about a decade ago, and the league has decided to morph that transformation into a week-long hullabaloo with time and date info on specific games trickling out before the actual release show, in primetime, on Thursday. When the schedule is actually released, it’s always a blast evaluating […]

How Brandon Beane’s drafts have compared to other top GMs

I recently laid out how Brandon Beane has drafted as the Buffalo Bills general manager relative to NFL-wide historical expectations for every single draft pick. The natural follow is to then compare Beane’s results to other perceived top GMs in the NFL, over the same time period. I used 2018 – 2023 in the initial […]

Buffalo Bills Sign Former Lions Tight End

The Buffalo Bills announced they have signed tight end Shane Zylstra to a one-year deal, releasing kicker Maddux Trujillo to maintain the 90-player offseason roster maximum. Zylstra is a 29-year-old tight end who spent five seasons with the Detroit Lions after going undrafted out of Minnesota State in 2021, appearing in 35 games and recording 18 catches for 136 yards with four touchdowns across his career. Bills signed former Lions TE Shane Zylstra to a one-year contract and released K Maddu...
