As the Summer of 2026 approaches, multiple NBA players will consider their future, seeking and negotiating the contracts that will carry them through the next phase of their careers. Among them is Portland Trail Blazers point guard Scoot Henderson. The Blazers have one more season free and clear on his rookie deal at $13.6 million. […]
It’s quite possible we’ve seen the last of Kevin Porter Jr. in 2025–26. Prior to today’s game against the San Antonio Spurs, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said that he would be “surprised” if KPJ played again this season. The news was initially reported by Eric Nehm of The Athletic. It’s been an injury-riddled season […]
The Portland Trail Blazers agreed to rookie extensions with Shaedon Sharpe and Toumani Camara last offseason. The pair signed on to stay with the franchise for another four seasons for $90 million and $81 million respectively. If you ask this writer, they deserved every cent. This summer, the Blazers have to make calls on Scoot […]

It’s a close one in this latest Utah Jazz Reacts survey results. The Utah Jazz are going to be very good next year, and I was curious who Jazz fans think will be the most important player. These results don’t include the potential results of the upcoming NBA lottery and draft, and that may change […]
When the Wizards played the Spurs in late December, Jamir Watkins spent a bunch of time guarding Victor Wembanyma. Wemby faces physical, dogged defenders who get up under him all the time. Watkins seemed to present a new challenge. The Wizards’ second round rookie mirrored Wemby’s lanky dribble and looked ready to rocket into the […]
Usually, when we talk about our memories associated with the Minnesota Vikings, we make an effort to focus on the positive moments. However, inspired by a post from our friends at Mile High Report, I wanted to go in a slightly different direction to spark some discussion for this weekend. What is the worst Minnesota […]
Real Madrid defender Eder Militao has completed his recovery from the hamstring injury he suffered in December and will be available when Los Blancos visit Mallorca in La Liga on April 4th, which will be the first game after the FIFA break. Militao will need some time before he can actually feature in the starting […]

Who said free agency was over? The Dallas Cowboys broke their silence on Saturday with the signing of veteran defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard. Entering his 11th season, Bullard projects as a 3-4 DE in the Cowboys’ new scheme under Christian Parker. Most recently with the Saints, Bullard has been around the NFC with the Vikings, […]
In this week’s Tuesday Tracker and SB Nation Reacts poll, we asked you about Bucks owner Wes Edens’ comments regarding Giannis’ offseason extension decision. We also took your opinion on waiving Cam Thomas for Pete Nance. Here are the highlights: Thanks again for voting! Check back on Tuesday for another slate of questions. Check out FanDuel, […]
Nearly three weeks ago, the Miami Heat were riding high. They were winners of seven-straight, 10 of their last 12 and 11 of their last 14, putting themselves in serious contention for a top-5 seed in the East. Despite being shorthanded, there was more rotational clarity, more two-way versatility and they looked like a team […]
The post Heat defense has fallen off the map appeared first on Hot Hot Hoops - Miami HEAT NBA Blog .
As we motor on towards the draft, it appears that there likely will not be any further free agent signings until after the draft unless they are for the minimum. There might be a contract extension for O’Neill but I thought that was going to be last year. Could the team just leave his contract […]
1pm CT on SEC Network. Yesterday’s game was a much needed victory over the hated School to the East—an extra inning 3-2 victory fueled by 7 and 1/3 IP of one run, 9 K ball by Connor “The Spice” Fennel” and a 10th inning walk-off single by Johnstone the Elder. Today, we go for win […]
The Dallas Mavericks travelled to the northwest to take on the Portland Trailblazers Friday night. The Mavs have officially been eliminated from Playoff contention, while the Blazers have clinched a spot in at least the Play In tournament. Despite having nothing to play for, Dallas got the 100-93 win. Let’s get to the grades! Cooper […]
Thank you for your responses to this week’s SB Nation NBA Reacts survey. Here are the results. In our Washington Wizards survey, we asked you whether you believed the team would ultimately clinch an NBA record 29 game losing streak. If that were happen, that streak would have stretched into next season where Washington would […]
Fun game. Especially watching Payton Pritchard go off. How can you not love the guy? I love how he comes out of the trees with rebounds. I'm so glad he's a Celtic. Their descriptions of Baylor Scheierman cracked me up. Thunder fans had a couple of funny descriptions of him also. It cracks me up that everybody thinks the Celtics get so much help from the refs. If they did, they wouldn't be last in the league in free throws attempted. My favorites are in...
After dropping Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jackets — a critical matchup in their push to remain in the mix for a playoff spot — in pretty deflated fashion, the Flyers found themselves well and truly on the ropes, as they looked to keep their playoff hopes alive. Thursday’s next matchup, then, against the visiting Blackhawks was going to be critical to helping them get things back on track, if they could again tap into a short memory and turn the page quickly.
And what the team deliver...
The best things from the Wizards loss to the Golden State Warriors were these: What most interested me in this game was the solid performance of Pat Spencer, who was scouted and signed by the former Wizards management team led by Tommy Sheppard. Spencer played well in the G-League and summer league, and my statistical […]
Jordan Walsh’s third season has been a bit of a roller coaster. He started the season as a distant idea, where youth and potential still held weight, but it was unclear if he could break through. That breakthrough did happen, and it led to a string of promising starts with consistent and meaningful playing time. […]
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Seattle Seahawks fans and fans across the country. As we inch closer to the 2026 NFL Draft, the speculation about the Seattle Seahawks’ draft capital is beginning to heat up. Will the Seahawks keep their […]
The Atlanta Hawks fell to defeat to the Boston Celtics on Friday night — 109-102 — at TD Garden. Jalen Johnson led the Hawks in scoring with 29 points with CJ McCollum adding 21 points. For the Celtics — without Jaylen Brown — Payton Pritchard scored 36 points, and Jayson Tatum added 26 points. Much […]
The Seattle Seahawks continue to improve their coaching staff ahead of the new season, adding veteran college coach Jimmie Dougherty — a name widely respected for his work with quarterbacks and the passing game. Dougherty arrives from the University of Washington, where he most recently served as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. While this will […]
We’re almost there! The Nets have just eight games remaining on their schedule in the regular season. This isn’t just the end of a season for the Nets…it’s the end of a two year “tank run” we knew wouldn’t be fun, but we had to go through. It’s the end of a jail sentence. The […]
